Cut-A-Thon To Benefit National Center for Missing & Exploited Children

On May 26, 2009, in honor of National Missing Children’s Day, Oxford Academy of Hair Design, and AACS schools across the country, will be holding a nationwide cut-a-thon to raise money for the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC).

The fundraising event will take place at the Academy located at 225 West Street, Oxmour Plaza, off Route 67, in Seymour CT. The students will be cutting hair from 10am to 9pm. The students at Oxford Academy will be performing the haircutting services to the public under direct supervision of Licensed Instructors.

The cost per Haircut is $15.00.

100% of proceeds will be donated to the center.

Since its establishment in 1984, the Center has assisted law enforcement agencies with more than 127,700 missing child cases, resulting in the recovery of more than 110,200 children.
